Greater satisfaction even to be able to celebrate the end of this cycle with the incredible view of the viewpoint of Sugar Loaf and at the feet of Christ the Redeemer.

Opening of the Congress at UNIFESP
The emotional and unforgettable opening of the Congresso Internacional e Interuniversitário against Child Poverty took place at the UNIFESP in São Paulo. Here is an excerpt from the text that accompanied the presentation:
“It is an honor for us, the Banda dos Curumins, to be here today with you at the opening of this important Congress with the topic of the eradication of child poverty. We would like to thank all the organizers for this opportunity.
[...] the Band, using the universal language of music, transmits messages of Peace and solidarity stimulating a change in the reality we live in, where the issues with health, education and youth necessities and the overall population favor a climate of violence and discrimination. It is a reality where children, women, the black people and other vulnerable people are the first victims of a system that privileges profit, treating human beings as disposable objects, condemning them to a live of material and oftentimes emotional poverty.
[...] Paz is the title of the third and last track that we will play. It is a composition by our professor Vilson Carlos Maria, a true hymn for life to leave all participant with a good omen and much inspiration during these days of congress, with the hope that we can go back to being better human beings and offer our talents to the less fortunate ones contributing to the realization of a more friendly world where children can have a future of truth.”
