The Quarteirão da Música mission is to grant access to the benefits of high-quality, tuition-free music education to financially-disadvantaged young people, to teach good habits that will carry over into their working lives, and to expose young people to new opportunities for success. The School of Music strives to provide an educational environment that fosters the artistic, intellectual, and personal growth of its students and prepares them to embark on productive lives as musicians, technicians, artists and citizens, as well as to become leaders in their professions.
